The Crescent Committee of Canada has officially merged with the Hilal Council of Canada due to the same criteria that are shared by both groups. More Masajid and many more scholars have joined Hilal Council of Canada. We believe in unity and we will work tirelessly to bring our community together insha Allah.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته، The Hilal Council of Canada did not receive any reliable and verified reports of sightings of the new crescent for the month of Shawwal. Therefore tomorrow will be the 30th of Ramadhan and the 1st of Shawwal, 1442 will be on Thursday, May 12, 2021 insha'Allah.Eid Al-Fitr Mubarak to everyone. We pray Allah blesses the entire Ummah with all forms of Khair, keeps us all in His protection, remove this pandemic and all oppression from the Ummah, give us Tawfeeq to do what is right and abstain from what is wrong, blesses the Ummah with a joyous Eid Al-Fitr and allows us to do as many good deeds as possible, 'Āmīn. |

Ramadhan 1442
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته، The Hilal Council of Canada received confirmed reports of sightings of the new crescent for the month of Ramadhan from various locations. Therefore the 1st of Ramadhan, 1442 will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2021 insha'Allah. Based on this, the 29th of Ramadhan will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.We pray Allah blesses the entire Ummah with all forms of Khair, keeps us all in His protection, remove this pandemic from the Ummah, give us Tawfeeq to do what is right and abstain from what is wrong, blesses the Ummah with a joyous Ramadhan and allow us to use these blessed days in doing as many good deeds as possible, 'Āmīn. |
